Recognition and qualifications
Who awards our qualifications, what our centre recognition covers, and how you can check it.
Continuing Education and TQUK
Training Qualifications UK writes and awards the qualification. Continuing Education is the centre that teaches it, assesses it and quality assures the decisions.
TQUK sets the assessment criteria and issues the certificate. We deliver the teaching, carry out the assessment against those criteria, and check the decisions our assessors make. TQUK externally quality assures us. Continuing Education is not an awarding organisation and does not issue its own regulated qualifications.
What our recognition covers
Further Learning (UK) Ltd achieved TQUK Centre Recognition on 11 May 2026. Centre recognition allows us to apply to deliver TQUK qualifications. It does not automatically approve us for every qualification TQUK offers. We publish a qualification only once approval for it is in place.

What a qualification does and does not mean
A qualification builds structured knowledge and gives you evidence of it. It is separate from eligibility for a regulated role. Completing a qualification with us may support your professional development, but it does not by itself confer professional registration, statutory status, a licence, or membership of a professional body. Eligibility for any professional or statutory role remains subject to the requirements of the relevant employer, professional body or regulator.
Quality assurance
- Assessors hold a recognised assessing qualification and current occupational competence.
- Internal quality assurance samples decisions across every assessor and every unit.
- External quality assurance is carried out by TQUK to an agreed schedule.
- Learners can appeal an assessment decision under our appeals procedure.
Delivery through partner centres
Some learners study with an approved partner centre in their own country. The partner provides local teaching and learner support. It does not hold TQUK centre recognition of its own and does not award the qualification. Continuing Education remains the recognised centre and keeps responsibility for assessor approval, internal quality assurance, certification claims and appeals.
